The concept for Cleavitz? started back in 2004 but the real fun began in 2008 when my first prototype was completed. I was so encouraged with the great response around the new Cleavitz half-top that it became my full-time job and brand new career very quickly.
I struggled to find a comfortable and simple way to dress fashionably and professionally at the same time. So many of the fashionable tops in my closet were too risqu? for work and I needed a way to make them business appropriate during the day and a little more fun at night.
How Can I Make Layering Stylish, Comfortable and Cool?
For years, I tried the various layering solutions that would cover cleavage in a stylish way that were offered in the marketplace: camisoles, tank tops, half-cami's, half-tops, even fabrics that clipped to your bra ? you name it, I tried it. The camisoles slid down too far, and the full tank tops bunched in the middle, adding bulky lines, and were just too hot in the summer.
From there we found the best fabric and a patent design for the perfect mixture of quality, comfort and style.
